The problem is likely due to the reason of excess estrogen i.e. female hormone or too little testosterone i.e. male hormone. Also, the glandular tissues of the breast start to swell and the breast bud is formed which is known as an enlarged breast. What is the treatment for Gynecomastia?

Gynecomastia in babies and teens does not approach treatment. In most cases, the problem goes away on its own. If the problem is caused due to a disease or medicine, then medications need to be stopped or treat the problem, which helps the condition to get back to normal. On the other hand, if the problem is due to an increase in estrogen and lack of testosterone the hormonal treatment is suggested. Surgery will be the last resort for the patients if other treatments have not given the desired results needed.
